What Is a Vacation Watch?
A vacation watch is a free service where deputies patrol and monitor your home while you’re out of town. Patrols are randomized and conducted multiple times a day to avoid predictable routines.

To request or manage a vacation watch, contact Harris County Sheriff’s Office
Information to Provide When Requesting
Please include:
- Will lights be left on?
- Are pets staying in the home?
- Is there an alarm system, and will it be armed?
- Is anyone authorized to access the home?

- Is there a secondary emergency contact?
Need to Extend Your Watch?
